Inverness Highland Bowling Club

Founded in 1903 Inverness Highland Bowling Club is situated in the beautiful Crown District of Inverness close to the City Centre and within an easy walk of Inverness bus and rail terminals.

As well as a full and varied programme of club events (from mid-April through to mid-September), games and competitions, our excellent playing surface also regularly plays host to Northern County Bowling Association fixtures.

If you are looking for a club to join you will find our thriving and friendly club is perfect for players of all abilities from complete beginners through to experienced bowlers.

We have a small licensed bar that is open for major matches as well as a variety of social events that are held throughout the year (not just the summer).

Please note that the club is closed for the winter from mid September, but a full programme will start again in April. You can still contact us by email (see above) and we do have several social events planned that you would be welcome most welcome to attend.

Looking for a Venue for a Competion or a Club to Visit on your Tour?

Our club has built a first class reputation for accommodating and managing events and for welcoming visiting clubs. In particular we regularly host the latter stages of Regional events including Northern Counties Bowling Association fixtures.

With a small licensed bar and and superb catering facilities we ensure that visiting clubs, associations and touring parties leave with fond memories of Highland hospitality.
